Captive Collars® 30-Day Product Guarantee

At Captive Collars®, every piece is handmade with care and inspected before it leaves our studio. We stand behind the quality of our craftsmanship and offer a 30-Day Product Guarantee for manufacturing defects.

The 30-Day Product Guarantee applies only to the original purchaser and begins on the date the order is marked delivered.

Because our jewelry is handmade, worn against the body, and intended for personal use, proper care, regular inspection, and accurate sizing are important for maintaining the life of your piece.

Guarantee Period

Captive Collars® products are covered for 30 days from the date of delivery against manufacturing defects.

If you believe your item has a manufacturing defect, please contact us within the guarantee period and provide:

• Your order number
• Photos clearly showing the issue
• A description of what occurred

All claims are reviewed individually. Captive Collars® reserves the right to determine whether an issue qualifies under this guarantee and the appropriate resolution, if applicable.

What Is Covered

The 30-Day Product Guarantee may cover:

• Manufacturing defects in workmanship
• Components that fail due to a production issue
• Incorrect customization completed by Captive Collars®

What Is Not Covered

The 30-Day Product Guarantee does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, improper care, normal wear, incorrect sizing, modifications, or external forces.

Examples include, but are not limited to:

• Bent, stretched, opened, or damaged jump rings
• Damage caused by snagging on clothing, furniture, equipment, or other objects
• Pulling, excessive force, or impact damage
• Damage caused by tools or attempts to modify the jewelry
• Crushing, bending, or accidental damage
• Scratches, surface wear, or cosmetic changes from normal use
• Damage caused by improper cleaning or exposure to chemicals
• Damage after modifications or alterations
• Incorrect sizing selected at checkout
• Metal sensitivity or allergic reactions
• Lost jewelry or lost components
• Damage caused by improper storage or failure to follow care instructions

Due to the delicate nature of decorative components, pendants containing gemstones, lab-created stones, CZ, crystals, opals, pearls, enamel, or other decorative elements are excluded from our 30-Day Product Guarantee when used with a locking collar or jewelry piece.

Personal Use & Hygiene

Captive Collars® jewelry is personal-use jewelry designed to be worn directly against the body.

Due to hygiene considerations, we cannot accept used jewelry for inspection or evaluation after the 30-day guarantee period has expired.

Care & Inspection

Jewelry should be inspected regularly for signs of wear or damage. Continuing to wear a damaged piece may result in additional damage or loss.

If damage occurs, discontinue use until the item has been reviewed.

The 30-Day Product Guarantee covers manufacturing defects only and does not cover accidental damage, misuse, normal wear, incorrect sizing, or damage occurring after delivery.
