Chainmaille Making Process

Chainmaille Collars are such a beautiful piece to make and wear! The only tools needed are pliers. I use specialized chainmaille pliers, there are many sizes and types of pliers for different sized hands and weaves.  

Rings are saw cut by hand to give each ring a flush closure. To make the weave I open each ring one by one. Each ring is then placed into the weave and closed. This repeated process is time consuming, with beautiful results.
