These are our policies. By placing an order with Captive Collars you are agreeing to the terms of these policies.

 

Returns, Cancelations and Exchanges:

All sales are final. We do not give refunds, accept returns, cancelations, or make exchanges.

-Why? We handcraft each item at the time the order is placed. We do not carry an inventory of products, just supplies to create your order.  Each item is then custom made to your selection. 

- If we have made a mistake on the order. Please contact us within 72 hours of receiving your item and we will fix it right away. 

- Customer ordered the wrong size/does not fit: please contact us within 5 days for a Resize. Resizes start at $25. All shipping and any additional labor/materials will be the customers responsibility.

*Rings are not eligible for resizes

Captive Collars Shipping Policy

At Captive Collars, we understand the urgency of delivery. While we do everything we can to ensure a prompt and efficient order processing, we are experiencing longer than usual shipping deliveries due to USPS delays. Once the package leaves our studio, we do not have much control over the shipping times, however we will do everything we can to ensure you get your order.

Shipment processing time

All items are handmade when the order is placed. Processing time can vary depending on the item ordered, current processing time is posted at the checkout, or on individual items.

 

Shipment to P.O. boxes or APO/FPO addresses

Through USPS we can ship to P.O boxes, APO and FPO addresses. APO and FPO locations that are not within the Continental U.S. may experience longer times similar to international first class mail.

 

Shipment confirmation and order tracking

Once your order is shipped you will immediately receive an email with your tracking number. Please allow 24-48 hours for tracking to update. We have seen some cases where tracking does not update by USPS however the package is moving in the system. It may take a little longer to update and scan in those cases.

 

Late or lost shipments

Domestic shipments will be evaluated as lost or late after a 30-business day shipment period. After this time, we can provide you with a replacement shipment.

International shipments will be evaluate as lost or late after the 60-day shipment period. After this time we will process a replacement for your shipment.

 

Customs, duties, and taxes

Captive Collars is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer (tariffs, taxes, etc.).

Returned Package 

If a package is returned to us due to a wrong address or alike; customer is responsible for contacting us to purchase Shipping and Handling to have package shipped out to them again. 

 

60 Day Warranty

 
We stand behind our product, I do care greatly that you are able to wear your loved jewelry. Most often you can send it back for repairs at little or no cost to you. Here are some general guidelines of what we cover.

 

  • We use materials that are listed in each description, so you can make an informed decision of what is right for you. Items marked as non-tarnishing, if they would tarnish, we would replace/repair.

 

  • Permanent Locking Clasps not covered 

 

  • Stretch bracelets are not covered
